After a long break in production owing to the coronavirus crisis, director James Cameron is all set to resume production on ‘Avatar 2’, the sequel of the 2009 blockbuster hit. According to the latest update, filming is set to begin on in New Zealand by next week.
Sharing a sneak peek at an elaborate set along with boat-like vessels for the shoot, producer Jon Landau was happy to share the updates with fans to get them excited for the film’s release in 2021.
"Our #Avatar sets are ready - and we couldn't be more excited to be headed back to New Zealand next week. Check out the Matador, a high speed forward command vessel (bottom) and the Picador jetboat (top) - can't wait to share more," Landau captioned his post.
Besides sharing photos of the high-tech vessels set to be used in this sequel, the makers have also released photos of the cast shooting some scenes in the water.
