As Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie get ready to battle it out in court over the custody of their six children on Monday, reports claim that the actor will push for “equal” custody.
Reports on various international portals claim that Pitt is keen to pursue a 50-50 custody settlement where he and Jolie can get equal time with their children – Madox, Zahara, Pax, Shiloh, Vivienne and Knox. While reports claimed that the actress is looking to relocate, Brad is keen to have the family based in Los Angeles.
The couple, who married in 2014 and separated in 2016, originally reached a custody agreement, but owing to certain developments, chose to go the legal route.
On top of calling Jillian to take the stand, Brad's witness list includes multiple psychologists and security consultants and a therapist.
According to reports on ETonline, a source close to the developments said, "Brad has avoided this court scenario for years, and the last thing he would ever want is for this to have a negative outcome for everyone."This is about getting his time with the children."
Despite reports claiming that Jolie dictated Pitt's schedule and visitation rights, the report claimed that it was all decided by the courts.
The report also goes on to state that the estranged couple is working towards co-parenting their kids, and seeing to their best interest and needs in the future.
