With the rise in the number of coronavirus cases in the country and no end in sight, American actor-producer Mark Ruffalo, took to Instagram to urge people to wear masks by sharing a picture of him covering his face with a handkerchief.
The Avenger’s star shared a monochromatic picture wherein he exemplified to people that he too is stepping out covering his face at all times. The picture shows his face to be shielded with a white handkerchief, covering his nose and mouth as he looks into the camera.
Emphasising on the importance of wearing masks not just for his own safety but for those around him, he captioned the picture, “I #WearAMask because I care about other people around me. It’s that simple.” The 52-year-old actor also tagged Interiors photographers Pernille Loof and Thomas Loof, who may have been the photographers behind the lens.
Other celebrities who have commented on the need to wear masks to help prevent the spread of coronavirus are actors Tom Hanks, Rita Wilson, Miley Cyrus, and Jennifer Anniston.
