After taking over land, sea and sky, it seems like the characters of ‘Fast & Furious 9’ will be getting ready for takeoff and fly into space.
The film’s leading lady Michelle Rodriguez accidentally spilled the beans while on a chat show where she admitted the rumours and that the characters were headed to space. However, sadly for Rodriguez, she will not don a space-suit like her co-star Ludacris, but she expressed her joy about having a female writer, who has helped give the film’s leading ladies a lot more ‘love and attention’.
Sharing her excitement about the same, she said that with the introduction of a female writer, the women characters in the film has helped give the characters more depth and dimension.
The ninth instalment in the Fast & Furious franchise has been delayed by almost a year due to concerns over the global coronavirus outbreak.
The film that was set to be released on May 22, and will now hit the theatres on April 2, 2021.
Besides ‘F 9’, Tom Cruise also made headlines when it was announced that his untitled next would also be heading to space. Interestingly, this film is said to be the first that will actually be shot in space.
