WWE Pays Vince McMahon Dividend Worth FIVE MONTHS Of Released Wrestler' Salaries
#1
WWE have paid their shareholders a stock dividend which could have covered the salaries of the recently released talent for up to a year, according to a company press release.
This regular quarterly stock dividend, which was paid to all Class A and Class B shareholders, equaled $0.12 per share, meaning that roughly a whopping $9.4 million was paid out to the owners of around 78 million shares. Vince McMahon alone would be entitled to $3.5 million of that based on his most recently recorded share total.

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported on Twitter that WWE was set to save about $703,000 per month after making the talent cuts.
So, based on Meltzer's reported savings, WWE could have paid the recently released employees their full salaries until April 2021. McMahon's dividends income alone would have covered talent for five months.
To summarise, WWE has opted to pay their shareholders and the WWE Chairman himself a large sum of money, instead of using that cash to keep their loyal employees in a job during one of the most difficult periods in recent human history.
The positive publicity just keeps on coming for Vinny Mac.
